What is an OBM?

An Online Business Manager (OBM) is your operations partner. I plan, coordinate and run the day‑to‑day so you can focus on delivery and growth.

How is an OBM different from a VA?

A Virtual Assistant (VA) completes tasks you assign to them. I, as your OBM, lead the operations, set priorities, build systems, manage projects and people to outcomes.

What do you mean by Standard Operating Procedures or SOPs?

This term has come from my corporate background and doesn't always translate in the entrepreneur world. It is what is also called an operations manual or business bible. It is a set of instructions on how to carry out tasks in your business - a step by step guide if you like. It is designed to be used by all staff to ensure tasks are carried out the same across the board. Ideal to have when you have someone new joining your business and you haven't got the time to sit with them all day. They can follow these instructions and you can get on with the tasks you need to do.

Do you implement as well as advise?

Yes. I design and build the systems and document your Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). I also train you and your team.

Do you work with men as well as women?

Yes, I work with both women and men who are passionate about building thriving businesses aligned with their values and lifestyle.

Do you work remotely or onsite?

Mostly remote, with options for onsite days in Surrey and Hampshire by arrangement.

Will you help reduce my software costs?

Absolutely and it is one of the things I LOVE the most about what I do. I start by simplifying what you have and removing needless tools. This reduces the number of logins/passwords and reduces costs - saving you time and money.
